Obituary of Thomas James Coniker

Thomas James Coniker, 72, died peacefully after a battle with cancer on April 22, 2024, in Columbia, South Carolina.

Thomas was born in Flushing, New York, on February 14, 1952, to Wilson and Linda Coniker. He was raised in Rochester, New York. After serving six years in the U.S. Army, he made his career in the textile laundry business. He enjoyed Hallmark Christmas movies and visiting family in Upstate New York. He also enjoyed many activities outdoors, including hunting and sitting in his rocking chair on the front porch.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda, his son, Zack, and daughters, Kristin (John) Bower, both of Lexington, South Carolina; Shannon (Ben) Ross of Brentwood, Tennessee; Brandi Coniker of Palmyra, New York; and Nicole Coniker of Fairport, New York; his sisters, Patricia (Steve) Boorum of Ontario, New York; and Peggy (Dale) Jones of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Billy.

He was loved very dearly and will be missed.
