Jackaleane G. Lawson
Memorial services for Mrs. Jackaleane G. “Jackie” Lawson will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 2:00pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. Marion Britton officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. South Carolina Cremation & Burial Society is assisting the family. Mrs. Lawson, 70, of Aiken, died Saturday at Azalea Woods Nursing Home.
Born in Moultrie, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Preston Gay and Curtie Roberts Gay. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at the Aiken County Detention Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Tequilla “Kelia” (Ted) Stokes, Anderson, SC; sons, Kirk (Susan) Lawson, Aiken; Pete Lawson, Aiken; Shannon Lawson, Mayfield, GA; and Kip Lawson, Burnettown, SC; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
